Shifting Gears United Starting off the morning with a fabulous filled morning of aerobics & swimming with our team. So awesome to see Hannah, Kelli, it’s been a while. Thank you Lindsay for being so clutch and always there to help out, it takes a village and taking such good care of Monica.

It was a monumental moment and experience for Navy Veteran Estevan, SGU Freedom Team of Wounded Team®️ This young man spent one full year in Walter Reed hospital and five months in a coma. He couldn’t wait to get back in the water, it was truly an incredible experience to witness his first time swimming since his accident.

Emotional moment with so much excitement and unknowns.

This is one of those moments that will live in our hearts forever. Awesome job Estevan, so happy for you. Thank you Harry!!!! NPB Aquatics staff, thank you for being so supportive and helpful we love you all and coach Steve is the best.

iCARE Sea Turtles Kayak Clinic

SGU started off with a phenomenal morning hosting another outstanding kayak clinic for one of our favorite groups, ICARE Sea Turtles.

A beautiful morning on the water kayaking and swimming is the way to to renew your mind, body and soul. Thank you to our Coach Paul, our amazing volunteers, and guest.

This is one for the books. A day that will live in my heart forever. These young adults continue to show off their kayaking skills and to witness the growth and confidence.

To see the improvements, while others never been in a kayak or in the water. WOW – the emotions to witness the fear but the love of being in the kayak. Once in the kayak and felt comfortable the fear went away. This was huge accomplishment.

I can’t say enough about ICARE Program – Sea Turtle Adventures and your work in our community.
